My brother John and I went to the Tulip fields in Woodburn yesterday:
My sister in-law Stacey shot this image after we got Mt. Hood perfectly lined up in the background. The sunlight was just perfect because it was just behind the clouds creating a very soft light, soft enough that we could look straight toward the sun without hurting our eyes.
I met another photographer there with a $20,000 digital Hasselblad camera, so I asked him, "Are you a commercial photographer?"
His reply was, "Oh no, I just shoot for the fun of it."
Wow, to have the money to shoot with a $20K camera, now that's what makes America so great.
